General Motors East Africa has signed a new deal with Pewin Motors Ltd to market and service Chevrolet brand of vehicles in Kenya.
As part of the auto-maker's plan to grow and expand the Chevrolet
brand in Kenya, Pewin Motors will sell and service all new Chevrolet
Trailblazer under the Sports Utility Vehicle segment, and the Chevrolet
Cruze, Aveo and Optra saloon vehicles.
Pewin Motors began its motor trade business in 2009. Speaking at the
signing ceremony, General Motors Managing Director Rita Kavashe
said the drive to open up new Chevrolet outlets in the country is in
line with its business strategy to provide world-class products to the
market through accessible, authorised dealers who meet GM's global
standards for quality customer service and aftersales support.
Pewin Vehicles Chairman Peter Kirigua said the firm brings into GM
network a strong brand that focuses on customer satisfaction and
